The present article intends to present the vision of the evil, the freedom and the ethical paradox in the man in Paul Ricoeur (1913-2005). In order to undertake such a quest we shall start with the most notorious texts of the French philosopher, namely: Philosophie de la volonté: 1) Finitude et Culpabilité 2) La Symbolique du Mal (1960) and The Conflict of Interpretations (1969). Therefore, the methodology of this article is bibliographic.
