The aim of this study is to analyze the reason for erasing the Jewish identity of authors who are read and discussed in Brazil, within the educational field. A panoramic analysis of the prefaces of the books of the collection “Os Pensadores” is carried out, which brings together some of the main works in the history of philosophy, looking for references to the Jewish origin and identity of these authors. Also, texts that address issues related to Judaism and how Jews are placed in them will be analyzed. Also, it will be approached about the non-existence of women among the thinkers chosen to compose the philosophical compendium. This is research with a qualitative and exploratory approach with technical and bibliographic procedures. The results emphasize the understanding of the idea of ??a diffuse anti-Semitism present in Brazilian Education.
