The present article is intended to reflect over the discomfort in civilization, according to what was explained by Freud in “Civilization and its Discontents”, and from the point of view of Christian Theology. Assuming religion as an alternative to sublimation of this discontentment, and in the context of the inter-religious dialogue, it questions if the different traditions can represent an alternative equally valid, even asking about minimal criteria so that a religion can be considered true and good.
